Relaunched and Revived- Sunflowerbank.com

They’ve been around since 1892, getting their start in Salina. Now they’re a $1.6-billion company with 34 branches in Kansas and Colorado. Things have changed a bit since 1892, but Sunflower Bank has kept up with their customers’ needs in more ways than one.

Geared toward interacting personally with its customers, Sunflower Bank enlisted our help to relaunch their website. It wasn’t a brand new site, but a redesign of the old one instead, which allowed us to take what we already had and make it better, fresher and more user friendly.

In this age of blue-streak technology, relevant online content is paramount. We programmed a new feature that delivers news directly relating to customers in each of Sunflower Bank’s 20 Kansas communities, eliminating the need to weed through unrelated material. It’s a clever way of staying in touch. Also intriguing about the site is their campaign to involve everyone in the banking industry no matter who you are or what your age. There are applications, clubs, and programs that aim to further educate women, kids and businesses alike about smart banking practices.

Moving Forward- LWI & Nest Vehicles

THe all new LWI and Nest Vehicles website designed by Entermotion in Wichita KansasWe’d like to take a quick minute to mention a couple site launches we’re very excited about! Both teams at LWI and Nest Vehicles were fantastic to work with and we have two great new websites as a result.

LWI
LWI is an elevator panel production company that features cutting edge technology to make sure their customers are satisfied in every shape of the word. You can get everything from a single elevator wall panel to 500 panels a week if that’s what you need. This was the second time we were selected to launch their site- thanks for thinking of us! This time we were able to upgrade the online quoting application to include ceilings, and other fittings.

See the new site here: LWI Elevator Panels

Nest Vehicles
Nest Vehicles has a simple idea for a product. Offer all the most needed features of an ambulance at a fraction of the cost. They do this by purchasing factory made mini-vans, and modifying them. It’s a great product with its heart in the right place.

One thing to mention on the website we built for them is the client login area. We wrote some programming that creates unique URL’s for each requesting client to view more information about the vehicles. This has two added benefits; -it shows each client some personal care, and it lets Nest know if the page was viewed or not via the site’s statistics.

Found Guilty of False Advertising? That’ll be $300,000, Please.

A headline came floating across the newsfeed the other day, and it turns out there’s an interesting story behind it. A story that certainly teaches a lesson, albeit maybe a different one for everybody.

Earlier this month, a cosmetic surgery company called Lifestyle Lift got busted for false advertising. Get this- they were publishing made-up consumer reviews on multiple websites, and even asking their employees to contribute during slow days in the office! Lifestyle Lift was found guilty, ordered to stop with the false advertising bit, and then pay $300,000 in costs and penalties to the state of New York. “Astroturfing” (the term coined for situations in which a company’s funds push an agenda of some sort) is becoming more of a problem on the internet; if nothing else it’s placing a company’s credibility completely in the hands of commenters (or, more realistically, comment moderators). To read the whole story, go here.

For us, this story acts as a not-so-subtle reminder to be ever-so-vigilant about the words we choose to use for our marketing copy, and company branding in general. Our clients depend on us to make sound decisions, tell the truth, and get their message across cleanly and effectively; we can’t afford to overlook anything. On top of that, we want our clients to succeed because they are a solid company, not because they had to trick people into believing positive reviews.

New Site Launched – Bunting Magnetics

The all new Bunting Magnetics website designed, and developed by Entermotion in WichitaWe want to congratulate Bunting Magnetics on the launch of their new website! With the help of their marketing/IT team and the collaboration of ideas, we were able to restructure their site to embrace the benefits the wonderful world of ecommerce offers today. In addition to the modernizing of those assets, we also worked with Bunting to enhance the site’s communication with the back office, making their accounting process more effective thanks to free invoice tools and their user-friendly system. Who doesn’t need that?

They’ve been proficiently manufacturing magnetic equipment for 50 years, and continue to implement innovation to their already successful business model. Good luck with the website!
We’re proud to present the all new www.buntingmagnetics.com. Take a look!
