Here’s a quick recipe for an awesome Halloween dessert.
1 can (29 oz.) pumpkin
4 eggs
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspons cinnamon
1 teaspon ginger
1/2 teaspon nutmeg
1/2 teaspon cloves
1 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 box yellow cake mix
Preheat oven to 350. Mix first nine ingredients well in a bowl. Pour into ungreassed 13 X 9-inch glass baking dish. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top, drizzle with butter and top with chopped nuts.
Bake 1 hour or until tester comes out dry. Cool, cover and refrigerate, or serve warm. Serve with whipped cream. Makes 12
